In the case of known hypersensitivity or intolerance to the active substances iron (III) hydroxide polymaltose complex and folic acid or to any of the other ingredients (see Description).
In the case of iron overload in the body (for example caused by rare iron storage diseases which can lead to iron accumulations in the tissues).
In the case of so-called iron utilisation disorders (for example when the anaemia is due to insufficient utilisation of the iron).
In the case of anaemia which is not caused by iron deficiency (e.g. caused by increased haemoglobin breakdown or vitamin B12 deficiency).
